|
Duration:
5 Hours
Drive along the Seine Valley to the home of Claude Monet, leader of the Impressionist School. He donated his much loved waterlilly paintings to his country, and they are housed in the Orangerie in Paris.
This excursion includes walking, standing, and a long bus ride of approximately 1.5 hours each way (driving time is included in the duration). Commentary is largely given on the coach and includes history, the roots of Impressionism, and Monet's life. Visits of the house, studio, garden and museum are at your own pace.
