Ever walk into your hotel and say to yourself "I see where they took the one decent shot of the lobby, too bad the rest of this place is a pit!"? Hotels will put their best face forward, but it doesn't always mean they can back up the image they are portraying. Monograms ensures that you won't experience hotel let down, by selecting centrally located first-class and above hotels. After all, we know the cities like a local. We've been sending travelers all over the world for 80 years. So not only will you love your room, but also how quickly you can walk out the door and be in the middle of it all. Shopping? Dining? Sightseeing? Whatever you do with your day, know that a delightful room awaits you upon your return each night.
Hotel Ratings
We know that accommodations are of paramount importance to your vacation enjoyment. Our carefully selected hotels have mastered the art of balancing the need for efficiency with the desire of each traveler to receive individual attention.
Each Monograms vacation offers you a choice of hotel accommodations to fit your style and budget. The specific hotel options we have selected for you are listed separately for each vacation. In Europe, China, Asia, South Pacific, and South America choose from the Premium Hotel Package and the First-Class Hotel Package. In North America choose from the Premium Hotel Package and the Classic Hotel Package.
We reserve the right to substitute hotels listed on the vacation pages with hotels of equivalent standard. With your travel documents, you will receive a list of hotel addresses, including telephone numbers and fax numbers, for your vacation.
Extra Nights Before or After Your Vacation
If you require extra nights at the first and/or last vacation hotel, we will make reservations for you at the rates quoted (refer to the price box of your vacation), provided you request them at the time you book your vacation. Rates are per person, per night, and include room with private bath, breakfast (excluding North America), service charges, and taxes.
Extra nights are only available immediately prior to or after your trip. Every effort will be made to reserve extra nights at the hotel where your trip stays. If space at the trip hotel is not available, alternative accommodation will be reserved at a hotel of equivalent standard. When this is the case, the transfer from and to the trip hotel is at our expense.
As hotel space is limited, we cannot reserve more than two extra nights before and/or after your vacation, unless they are needed to bridge the gap between two Monograms trips. During particularly busy periods, hotel space in certain cities can become so tight that we may be unable to sell extra nights.
